Hi Susanne, Yes, I have heard of that. Check the Milwaukee county list. They have people that go to the library and do lookups of certain things. Another lady is with the LDS in CA, and she does lookups in their info in her sparetime. Others have access to cemetary records and do the lookups for that. So there are a bunch of people each with their own little treeasure trove of info, and people write from all over the world to that list for info on Milwaukee ancestors. It is very active and popular.
