I found your George R. King and Maria Campbell in the Kane County Marriage Index for 1865. Did not find either one in the 1860 Kane County Census....that's all I could find. Have you checked any church records? who were the witnesses to the marriage? It's a start...good luck! Pat Meyers, Worth, IL
