My grandfather, Charles Manahan was born in Dundee in November 1869. I have done no research on that line, but it is my understanding that his mother's maiden name was Rosenthal. Charles was living in Minneapolis in 1890, nine years before he married my grandmother. Maybe there is a connection here somewhere!
