Hi Bill, I'm not researching the specific names you mention, but here's a trick to use when encountering this problem. For your search subject, type in "your surname" +"another known". For example ... Day +William (note the space). Your search engine will only select places where both words show up. Also, if you're typing in your search subect in all lower case letters, your search engine may be picking up "day" as the common word instead of "Day" as a proper name. Hope this helps. Even when you put a qualifier like "surname" with it, you get all kinds of irrelevent links. > > Check out this new surname locator: > > http://www.geocities.com/cribbswh/surnames/index.html > > Different concept altogether! > Bill Cribbs > > -- > GREAT BOOKMARKS! > ShipSearch http://www.obitcentral.com/shipsearch/ > CemSearch http://www.obitcentral.com/cemsearch/ > ObitSearch http://www.obitcentral.com/obitsearch/ > Obituary Links Page http://www.geocities.com/cribbswh/obit/ > Canadian Obit Links Page http://www.geocities.com/cribbswh/obit/canada.htm > > Thanks, > Bill and Tina Cribbs > HELP STOP BREAST CANCER!!! > -- > > > ==== ILKANE Mailing List ==== > You can contact the list administrator for this list by sending a > message to mailto:[email protected] >
