Good afternoon Listers, I was viewing LDS FHL film #1481624 for my WISSER, BITTINGER, FIERK[E] ancestors in hopes I'd find a naturalization record on any of them. I ran across the surname HOPP. I remember someone on this list inquiring about that surname. Anyway, the following is the info on that surname for whomever that person is. Record 353, Joachim Hopp, age 34, from Germany, arrived NY on 6/19/1872, sworn in on 7/8/1876 Record 317, Christ Hopp, age 28, from Germany, arrived NY on 10/16/1871, sworn in on 7/20/1879 Record 318, John Hopp, age 24 (38), from Germany, arrived NY on 10/16/1870, sworn in on 7/20/1879 I won't be able to do lookups, but the film is available @ Schaumburg Family History Center in anyone wants to view it until 11/06/00.
