Still looking for information about Thomas Hines, born in February of 1867 in Elgin. The Modern Woodmen of America cam through with a little information. When Thomas joined the Woodmen in September of 1901, he listed his father as 72 years old (so born about 1829,) his brothers ages 42 (@ 1859) and and 38 (@ 1863.) His mother passed away (thyphoid) before September of 1901, also a sister at age 39 (pneumonia) and an infant sister. Does the 1865 State census or 1870 Federal census include a match for this family? Any baptismal records that reach back this far? Thank you! Jean
