Hi Beverly. Thanks for the heads-up about the microfilm. However, when I first acquired my naturalization docs with the dates of arrival, I tried searching for ships whose dates of arrival coincided with the arrival dates on the naturalization docs. I didn't have any luck matching a ship with the dates on the docs in order to get the passenger lists. Are you telling me that the microfilm you mentioned is in date order such that I wouldn't need to know the name of the ship? I was the individual inquiring about the Hopp family...althoughI know that there are also other fellow Hopp researchers that are Kane Co. list subscribers. I have the naturalization records for all three men...aset of two papers for each...one looks to be the naturalization document andthe other looks to be the sworn statement. Anyway, my documents do not havean arrival date for John Hopp...those spaces were left blank. How did youcome across that information for him?>>> Lisa, I thought it was you; didn't have your email addy. I have on loan @ Schaumburg, Cook County, IL FHL the film for Elgin, Kane County, IL City Court Dec of Intent, Final Papers & Natl Rec stubs. The info came from film #'s: 1481624, 1481626 & 1481627 The names I posted were found on film #1481624. Based on the dates of arrival listed on the decs of intent, you can obtain copies of the passenger lists if they were filmed if you're interested @ Arlington Heights, Cook County, IL Memorial Library.
