Hi Fred, According to a message from DEBS on 10/14/2000, the abbreviations are used in the Kane Co. Cemetery Book. "A3" is the designation for Riverside Cemetery, and "A10" for Mt Olivet ... both cemeteries are in Aurora Twp., Kane Co., IL. Others may be interested to know that "LS" is the abbreviation for the latin phrase "Locus Sigilli", which means "place of the seal", used after signatures on legal documents.
