Hi Ruth, I seem to be having good luck with the search in Kane County area. I live in Lake County, IL. so I think I'll gather what info I have and take a drive there and see what else I can turn up. My Dad died several years ago, and he never told me much about his parents ( I was young and didn't ask either...now I regret it) Both his parents had died before they met my mother, so she hasn't been able to help much. I'll just keep at it, and see what I can find! Since I started with basically nothing, I have already made major progress. :) debbie
