    2. Laura, I was lucky some years ago to receive copies of records of funeral and associated death event documents, of family members who were buried in Dundee in 1899 & 1904, from a volunteer who researches at, I believe, the Borden Library, where they have collections of these burial related records copied in books. I would think there's an index to help find which books may have your folk, but I'm sorry to say I don't know anything further about this, including whether other townships are included. The record I have from 1899 is rich with data, containing birth date, relevant death info, burial place, parent's names and places of birth for all. Sometimes young children weren't as well documented, but worth a try to email or phone the library or genealogical society, even inquire with RAOGK. Perhaps SKS will come through for you! Wish I could be of more help. Best hopes you find good records! Subject: animated map http://www.animatedatlas.com/movie.html takes some time to load. is 10 minutes long.but you can pause and click and look in more detail. and rewind. for genealogists.think migration patterns and main towns/cities.. for teachers - think along the lines of colony relationships, waterways and migration. a great visual tool...

    2. Hi Laura, I'll call the Library to see if they have the papers this far back. Actually, I am a member of RAOGK here in Kane County and do look-up for people. I was there on Thurs. and happened to notice a cemetary that has many Luxenburgers there. I don't remember which one though. Do you know anything else about this person other than the newspaper article? Richelle (Ricky)Harris

    3. Hello Ricky and thanks for the reply. Acutally I don't know much about this person other than I think he was a brother to a Mathias Linden, Pierre Linden and maybe a step brother to my GGrandfather. The article only says he is survived by 3 children as the mother died three years before Barney's death. So if I can find any info in an obit for him it is a plus. The news paper was the Aurora Daily Beacon dated Feb. 2, 1894. So I figure the date of an obit would be either latter that day or maybe even Feb. 1- 5. I don't really know if there will be one. Just see if you can find anything about it if you can. All help will be appreciated. 3. Would anyone on the list be willing to try and find an obituary for me? I have an article from the Aurora Daily Beacon about Barney Linden, who dropped dead while working. The date of the article is Friday13, Feb, 1894. I am interested in finding the obituary if there is one to see who the survivors might be. I am trying to determine if this Barney Linden is related to my GGrandfather one of the many Peter Linden's. My GGrandfather was from Luxembourg and died in Nov. 1900. Thanks in advance, Laura Linden Freeman
