    2. There are listings for two Peter LINDENs in Aurora township. The first is a farmer in the Aurora Post Office area, and the other is a wool dealer, also in the Aurora Post Office area. These are listed in the Taxpayers and Voters section of the book (pg. 775). There are also listings for a Barney, Henry and John, all in Aurora twp. also. No Lindens anyplace else in the book. 3. Could anyone help me identify the H. E. Perkins and J. P. Perkins that are listed on the 1864 Elgin 'Special War Tax' List from "History of Kane Co., Ill", 1908, p. 701? I have a Hosea Edson Perkins listed as the father of my Elizabeth Perkins Kellogg, wife of Marquis de Lafayette Kellogg, who lived in the Kane Co. area c. 1870. The H.E. Perkins could be the father of Elizabeth or a brother? A J. P. Perkins could also be a brother? I would appreciate any clues or places to look for additional information on these gentlemen/families. Thank you! Pat J.

    2. Looking for anyone with info on George H. CALDWELL, who was in the 1930 Census record for Kane Co., IL, age 38, with wife, Muriel. He was born abt. 1891, Pope Co., IL, to Wm. and Emma CALDWELL, and was my grandmother's younger brother. Seems he and Muriel were employees of the State Hospital in Elgin. They had 3 sons in 1930, William, Robert and David CALDWELL. Anyone have any ideas on how to locate info on these people? I would like to hear from anyone with a connection to George and family. Thanks, Regina
