One was the son of Lewis Simmons and the other the son of Wiley Simmons. 2) Wiley Sr. traveled with Lewis in Finding new places for them to live. They sort of acted like scouts and kept in touch with other members of the family so they could all end up in Johnson County. James Simmons was in Lincoln county and some of Thomas family may have lived in Kentucky. We do not know their names though as yet. 3) There was a Wiley Simmons who came from kentucky and settled in Johnson county where he died there. At first we thought this was are Wiley. He died in Johnson County at the age of almost 80 years. Are Wiley was only 60 Something. This Wiley had a daughter named Letha who married John Albright. Our Wiley had a daughter who he named Letha but she never married. If this Wiley died in 1850 and was almost 80 he would have been born about 1770 around Thomas Simmons age. This Wiley may be related to Thomas Simmons. 4) There were other Simmons who lived in Johnson County that came from Kentucky. I would like to talk to these desendants.
