Known lineage as follows: William SIMPSON I was native of North Carolina. Migrated to KY, m. Polly Ann JONES in 1788 in Lexington KY. Had William SIMPSON II who married Kezia PARMLEY; John (Jackson) SIMPSON m. Elizabeth SHEARER(this is my line-Mara); Daniel SIMPSON who m. Mary REED; Lewis SIMPSON; Willis SIMPSON; Samuel Stanton SIMPSON m. Nancy HIBBIN; a daughter name unknown and Cynthia SIMPSON who married Rev. John CALVERT. Wm. II m. Kezia PARMLEY and they had Cynthia who married Andrew Jackson KUYKENDALL; Lewis J. m. Martha THOMAS; Mary m. Washington THOMAS, 2nd. W. H. BARNWELL; Daniel Decatur m. Sarah LAWRENCE, 2nd, Fiona PEOPLES; Lucinda m. Jackson FISHER, 2nd Samuel COPELAND; Eliza m. Captian William PERKINS; Thomas m. Mellissa JOBE(2nd wife); Jackson m. Louisa COPELAND then Mrs. Glass MORTON. Lewis J. SIMPSON m. Martha THOMAS and they had John Bunyan SIMPSON who married Martha CARTER; Lucinda m. Isaac BRATTON; Luamma m. Jefferson MORRIS; Washngton m. Nanie DAVID; James; Willis; Cynthia; Thomas and Andrew. John Bunyan SIMPSON m. Martha Matilda CARTER and they had Mary Malinda who married Sherman WHITESIDES; Lucinda E. m. Campbell Dotson SIMMONS; Arista A. m. Walter Johnson then Augustus WARTOOG; William Franklin m. Eva KINCANNON then Rhoda SHARPE; Sidney J. m. J. B. JOHNSON; Cynthia E. m. Franklin LEDWORTH. I am tracing through the William I, William II, Lewis J., John Bunyan, William Franklin line.
