Eli Gilbert Lentz and Lulu Gillespie were married in April 1904 the day after the Creal Springs High School Graduation. He was at the time Principal of the high school and she was one of the teachers. She had lived on a farm near Vienna during her first seven years, and in 1890 her family had moved to another farm near Pleasant Grove, halfway between Anna and Vienna, on the old Cherokee Trail. In 1893 they had moved again to Elvira, the first county seat of Johnson County, then in 1896 to Creal Springs, where father died in 1938, at the age of 57. xi. CALVIN GILLESPIE. 3.
