Mara: Lt. Ward Chapman must be a descendent of my g-g-aunt, Anne Ward, born 1812, died in Vienna 1904. Her son, John Ward Copeland had a daughter, Lenora May Copeland who married P. T. Chapman - she beingn Mrs. P. T. Chapman who wrote the book about Johnson County. Lt. Ward Chapman must be her son. Anne Ward Copland Calhoon lived with the Chapmans until she died in 1904, which may be why Lt. Ward Chapman has such a name. I would love to have the photo. What is the charge?
