He was son of William Ragsdale and Etta Smith and had siblings Morley, Fonzo, Leah, and Blanche-- that is about all I have. Mary, thanks for your response. There is a Thomas Ragsdale who married Nancy Escue. I'm not sure how he is connected to my line, may be brother to my Joel. They were all married in Johnson County so there must be a connection there somewhere. Maybe we can work out some details later. Thanks.
