Just yesterday I found a 'White' from Johnson Co., IL.... don't suppose it'll tie into your line, but you might know of them.... I found a divorce record for Mary I [or E] White McIntosh. It was in 1884... she said she was married to Joseph A. McIntosh 8 Aug 1881... they lived together till 31 Oct 1881... that he left two years ago... etc. etc. It says her father was Hosah [Hosey] White, mother, Mariah Moler. BUT I do not find a Hosah White....in the 1870 census.... there is a John G. White, age 31 farmer b. TN, his wife is Nancy.... b. KY....we also find that the marriage record says his name was Joseph A. McIntosh.... that his father was Geo. T. McIntosh from Todd Co., KY Just thought I'd give you something to figure out for me!!! I'm very interested in the McIntosh name from Todd Co., KY - then to IL by 1860 Good luck with your research. Louise
