Hi, Is anyone researching the GIBBS family that lived in Johnson Co. back in the 1800's? I am trying to relocate a piece of information I saw at one time but now I can't find the source. My ancestor, Sebrina/Cebrina SMITH was born 16 May 1836 in TN. She married Frank FISHER in Johnson Co. on Jan 5, 1859. They lived in Ganntown. I'm positive that I saw her name or signature on something that had Sebrina GIBBS and then either SMITH or FISHER. At the time I thought it might offer a clue to her mother's maiden name. I checked their marriage license again and it wasn't there and I checked Frank Fisher's estate settlement papers and it wasn't there either. Does anyone recognize this name? Thanks so much.
