I have updated the Johnson Co IL site it has new material on the Carnegie Library some photos taken inside by me in 2002 or before. A old photo of the Library when it was just built. A picture of the Librarian Margaret Mathis. Surname page has not been updated since 2004 so if you are not on the surname list or have not informed me of a new email address for you please send this to me. World War II , I have Clyde Wrex Simmons, Roy Allen Soper, Harlen Browning Soper , I have scanned a large book that has photos of Johnson Co IL WWI and WWII vets in it, I will have it on the website. Ann Laird of Metropolis gave me the book to scann. I am looking for Civil War soldiers and this site will be up soon more time as I have found more veterans. I have went thru many of my old files I am deleting doubles and triples of saved Johnson Co IL material. Organization is non existant and procrastination is another problem. To many things to do and not finishing up. Now is the time for you to submit material that you want on the site.
