I cannot find her after this time. I found Thomas with a 19 year old Rachel in the 1850 census for Lawrence County Arkansas. I don't think this is Rachel. It does not say on her marriage certificate that she needed anyone to sign so I figure this Rachel may be Thomas's daughter. Neither Rachel's show up after 1850 and by 1860 Thomas is married to Penelope Huskey and is living in Howell County, Missouri just on boarder of AR.

Since you listed HENDERSON as one of your lines.... I'm wondering if you have any connection to Wilson Henderson... he was a Rev. War soldier, he was a minister at the Bangston Chapel and he came to IL about the 1818-1820.... I believe I am a descendent of his through Polly Henderson who married John Colboth..... just wondering??? This James Jones is mentioned after 1820 in his home in Johnson Co., IL and is referred to as "Elder" James Jones as his own son James Jr is of maturity. Elder James was married to his first wife Matlaid/Matilda Watson about the early 1790's time frame. There were at least 3 children born by Matlaid before her death. I believe that "Elder" James was a son of James Jones. In other words our line of "Elder" James was at one time referred to as James Jones Jr. back in the mid 1700's area of Virginia just before the family is found by the 1800 tax list of Adair Co., Ky.
