    2. Linda Goodwin
    3. I am also looking for information for my Gibbs line, the only shred of information is from an aunt's family bible. I am fairly sure that this line is from southern Illinois or migrated to the area. I have a Susan Lee Gibbs (no dates or locations) married to a Barber with no first name given, the parents of Anna Lodusky Barber married to Raford )Elijah) Gurley. I did find a Raford Gurley in the Illinois marriage index married to Lodusky Barber in 1848 in Union County. I was moving earlier this month and finally got the bible information unpacked.I would appreciate any information anyone might have on the Gibbs in this area of Illinois, I have very little information to go on right now. Thank you. --- Linda On Tue, 8 Apr 2003 23:47:12 Tim Casey wrote: > >Helen >My great grandmother was Martha Gibbs m. 2. Anyone searching or have any information on a Travis Morris listed in the 1830 Census of Johnson county Illinois between the age of 70 and 79 years old. Also had a wife who was 70 to 79 years old. Travis would have been born about 1751 to 1760. Any one know the children of Travis Morris. Any one have any information on Irvin Morris I believe he was the father of my Rebbeca Morris born April 1 1825 and married Richard Neely Simmons. Irvin was in Johnson and pope counties in Illinois 1830 to 1840.

    1. [ILJOHNSO] Parents of Vernilla Graves Worley
    2. Ed Murrie
    3. Ludean, The 1850 census lists the Frederick Graves family living in the same area as the Hiram Worley family. Frederick Graves was 56 and was born in TN. His wife Jincy (listed as Jane in 1860) was also 56 and was born in SC. Children still at home were Frederick, Mary, and Louisa all born in Illinois. This couple could possibly be the parents of your Vernella Graves Worley. Frederick Graves and his wife Jane were shown in the 1860 census but not the 1870 census. You may want to check probate records to see if a will or other court records show Vernella Graves Worley as an heir. Ed Murrie

    3. John, you did help, as I didn't have some of the actual dates of deaths, etc. Even the ones that says they were so many years, months, days, I could figure out the date of birth. The Vernilia Graves Worley parentage is a mystery to me. If anyone reading this message could tell me her parent's name, I would appreciate it. Mrs. Chapman wrote about my Worley family, but not about the Graves. My great uncle, who started giving me information about 30 years on my ancestors, didn't include anything except she was a Graves, he couldn't remember her first name. I understand Margaret Crow Worley died and Isaac remarried a Nancy Hibben.
