    3. What township is Ozark Precinct in, please? I'm trying to check out some possible family (ie. Jane Duncan) in the 1910 Johnson Co. Census. Ancestry shows her in Ozark Precinct, but then only lists the townships when you go to look it up. Thanks so much, Harlene Soper Brown Johnson Co. 1. Mrs. N.A. Parker/Fern Hill IL
    2. Tim Casey
    3. I received this email from Raymond Nunn he wrote below can anyone help him with this. I have the article if someone needs it. Tim...I am sending you an attachment of a 1933 photo of a family reunion/90th birthday celebration of a woman named Mrs. N.A. Parker. The photo was taken in the community of Fern Hill, Illinois. I have been on the search for both the Parker family and Fern Hill for two years all to no avail. I enlisted the assistance of the reporter who wrote the attached story but I discovered that it was not in the St.Clair (Belleville) area. I finally hit on the Latitude and Longitude coordinances for Fern Hill and they landed me right smack in Johnson County. When I searched your area I found a Fern Cemetery located on highway Rt 45 between Vienna and Harrisburg...I am supposing that there may have been the community or town of Fern Hill located right in that area in 1933...Put on your history hat...and see if you can verify this for me...I also read the history of Simpson and wonder if Mr. Kerly is still living...If he is he could probably tell where Fern Hill was located...I sure hope you answer me...and I sure hope that I get some kind of Fern Hill location verification...Thanks and I'll look forward to hearing from you... I have census data already, but I am in need of anything else you may be able to look-up for me. Simeon died Jan 09, 1880. A death cert/transcription would be fantastic. Simeon was in Johnson from 1853-1880. There has to be something more on this man! Unless I can locate more info on where he came from in KY or TN, my 6 years of searching for this guy may come to a final halt. Thank you very much. Jeff

    3. Floyd, From scanning thru the History and Families book for Johnson County it looks like I will be sending you some info on the Smoot, Yandell and Vancleve families. There is 2 ways I can do it. I can scan the pages and email them or I can copy the pages and mail them to you US postal mail. If I scan them and email you will have them sooner but when I email them it does take a little time for them to come thru but I would email them in separate emails and it will probably be tomorrow or the next day before I can do it. I still have to check the cemetery books too for the lookups you want from them. I got quite a few to look up and I want to accommodate everyone that made a request. I bought the cemetery books for the purpose of doing lookups and I do enjoy helping when I can. My grandmother was born in Johnson County in 1889 and I have a lot of research there as we are only about 125 miles northwest of Johnson County.
