This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Jg.2ADI/1405.1 Message Board Post: Hi, If she died in Jo Daviess there is supposed to be a record but whether the court house has it is the question. You would need to know a more exact date than just a period of years for her death though. I have asked for searches to be done to look for d. dates of both my 3rd ggrandparents who both died the same day in 1889, both were mentioned in a newspaper obit but the courthouse didn't have either death record. So you might want to try searching the IL state archives death index first even though they are still adding names. I'll look up the name on ancestry and let you know what I find. Good Luck
