She is on line 33, Series: M653 Roll: 189 Page: 397, although the page number written by the enumerator seems to be 83. Ann was a house servant for the Davies L. Johnson family at age 17. Later, Ann married Daniel E. Hennessey, born in Ireland. I don't know if he ever lived in Galena. They are later found in Minnesota and had a son, Donald, b. 21 Aug 1904. Ann's mother shows to be born in Illinois. Her father from Ireland. Can anyone help me with Ann's birth or marriage information..or any information on her parents or siblings? Thank you so much! Thelma
Ann was 17 in 1860 and had a son in 1904 when she was 61? Are you sure the Ann in Galena in 1860 and the Ann in Minnesota are the same person? ----- Original Message ----- From: <springdaleia@yahoo.com> To: <ILJODAVI-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2005 2:17 PM Subject: [ILJODAVI] Ann Frances McDonald-Galena help needed > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: McDonald, Hennessey, Lanik, Kahoun > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Eh.2ADI/274 > > Message Board Post: > > Ann Frances McDonald shows up on the 1860 Census for JoDaviess County. > She is on line 33, Series: M653 Roll: 189 Page: 397, although the page > number written by the enumerator seems to be 83. Thelma > I have quite a bit of information on Alexander and Amelia Ann Morgan McDonald family who immig in 1847;/ County Fermanagh, Ireland. Don't know if Ann Frances is somehow connected to this family; also don't know if Alexander Mcdonald had any brothers who immigrated. Was Ann Frances McDonald found in the 1855 or the 1850 census? Alexander McDonald had a daug Ann who was 16 in 1850 census and later married Michael Foley. sharon
