When she returns next week, I'll look at it. We do seem to have the Ryan family surname showing up in most of the census records that we look at for our relatives. Do you know where they settled in South Dakota? Mine were Patrick Scanlan married to Margaret Welch. Patrick's family was located in Northwest Iowa, near the South Dakota border. Thanks, Lilli
