DAVEY, Grace, dated April 7, 1857 , proved April 7, 1858. Copy of will of Grace Davey. "I Grace Davey of the Parish of Duloe in the County of Cornwall (Widow) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in the following manner. I give and bequeath my son Will HIGMAN the sum of 100 pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain and which is now placed in the East Cornwall Bank at Liskeard. And I also nominate and appoint the said William HIGMAN (now in America) the whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament." Witnesses: Absolom HEATHMAN, Jane HEATHMAN (Page 267) The family is found in Jo Daviess in 1870 in Apple River, consisting of William, wife Harriet, daughter Annie and a son not previously listed in 1860, Henry, age 17, born England. On that same census page, living with another family, is a Jno, age 20, also b. England. 1880 census finds William and Harriet livng in Middlefield, Buchanan, Iowa. His occupation is farmer. The "Jno" who was living in another household in 1870 is also found in here in Delaware, Delaware, Iowa, and is married with two children. In 1900 Harriet is in Palo Alto Co, Walnut Twp, Iowa, living with her daughter, Anne and family - head of household looks llike "Ivy Goble" Harriet is no longer listed in the 1910 census. BJ
