Elizabeth does have a Historical Society.I met one of it's members of a trip there last June. She is Marilynn Hollond, 2476 W. Lone St. Rd. Elizabeth, IL 61028. The Historical Society is relatively new and has been focused mainly on the railroad to date much to her distress. I'm sure that she would be interested in your cook book. Incidentally, she lives in one of the two houses that remain at the site of Weston Village, 3 miles west of Elizabeth. The cemetery is all that remains of the original Village.
