Cris I found a Mary M. Riley listed in Competine Township, Wapello County, Iowa. Mary A. Riley, age 72, born in Ireland, listed as the mother-in-law of head of household Larry Fitzsimmons. Not sure about the Fitzsimmons name as it is blurry. Several children are listed. I found two more Mary Riley's list in the 1880 census for Richland, Wapello County, Iowa. Mary A. Riley, age 4, born in Iowa daughter of Patrick and Catherine Riley. Mary Riley, age 9, born in Iowa daughter of Michael and Mary Riley. The last two families are two dwellings apart in the census.
