Surnames: Dillon, Phelps Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Jg.2ADI/1426 Message Board Post: My grandparents, Thomas Dillon & Eva Phelps, applied for an Illinois marriage license in 1915, and were married at the Galena couthouse on Jan. 2, 1916. I would like to know if they reside in Galena or East Dubuque in 1916 or early 1917. I know that by Oct 1917 they were in Dubuque, IA. Their first child, who died in infancy, may have been born in Jo Daviess Co. I don't have a name nor know if it was a boy or a girl. Their 2nd child, a girl, died in infancy in Dubuque. My mother, their 3rd, was the only one who survived. any info on their stay in Jo Daviess Co. would be greatly appreciated.
