Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Jg.2ADI/1348.1.2 Message Board Post: Thanks for the response. I believe the name of great great grandfather was Andrew Jackson Belk not Andew Wilson. There seems to have been a "thing" in the family for naming sons after presidents. My great grandfather was George Washington Belk and grandfather was Chester Arthor Belk. If in fact it was, Wilson that would be of interest! I was aware of there being another Dennis. Not sure what root that was derived from? I "think" there was a Clyde Belk in Sabula, Ia when I was small would vistit there at times, but very hazy on specifics... Thought maybe he came from that branch...?

I do not know of a link, but I cannot rule it out. I believe that my great-great grandfather was Mathew Levins and he lived in the Galena, Illinois area (back in the 1830s), which is a fair distance from Randolph County. It is certainly possible that he had relatives elsewhere in Illinois, but I do not know of any.

There father was Othiel (Otho) Levens, and that is where I am trying to research. Any relation? Have you come across any of those names. I know James & Thomas were popular names though. Thanks for any info. Jaime
