Seeking family/information on Patrick McCARTHY (sometimes McCARTY) (1839-1918) and his wife, Mary (CLEARY) MCCARTHY. CLEARY sometimes CLAREY or CLARY (1840-1922). Parents of eight children; one died before 1900 census. Known children: Marcus W. P. McCARTHY (1880-1954), James H. McCARTHY (1867-1931) and Rosella V. McCARTHY (1875-1962). He married my grandmother Mary T. Moneyhun (or Moneyhon) born in 1892 and died in 1948. They lived in Lawrence County Arkansas. My father Melvin Clyde Belk was born just six mo. befor his father past away. There is only my aunt Helen left to help with dates or names of any kind. I do know that thier house burnt down with the family bible in it. I'm hoping to find any thing out, would love what ever information on the Belk/Moneyhun (hon) family. Thanks, Michelle

Amanda was just one year older than my mother. If you need any more info, I may have it. Agnes and Mary Caroline were sisters who married brothers of the Verhoff family.

His name was Henry Vincent. He came to Jo Daviess County with wife Sarah Michell and at least 11 children. All the info I have is that he went to Calif. and died there in 1851..dont know a location. Have you heard of him? The only clue i have is that some JDC miners went to the Trinity County area in No. Calif. I do know that the son of Henry went to Calif with wife Eliza, but dont know where...buy is supposed to be about the same time. I am not sure if Henry went with them. Any help would be appreciated.
