Surnames: Scott, Bonson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Jg.2ADI/1372.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Jane, Thank you for the information. My 5x great grandparents are burried in that cemetary. I know that my great great grandmother was a Methodist, but I think her husband James Scott *may* have been a (lapsed) Catholic. Do you happen to know of the name of the Methodist Church that operated in that area? If so, is there anyway of contacting the church or looking through its records? I apologize for being a pest with these questions, but this might be my last avenue with researching the Scott line.

I'm not aware of it being devoted to any specific denomination. My grandmother, who grew up in Council Hill (and her parents, siblings are buried there), was Methodist and I believe was raised in that church. If you get any information more helpful, I'd love to learn more to help me in my research.
