According to the History of Jersey Co., he had two sisters who were already there. I've found that Ann Rich (b. ca. 1814) married John Hooper (b. ca. 1819), on November 16, 1834 in England. They are in the 1850 census for Jersey Co. In the 1860 census for Jersey Co., their two sons are living with Samuel Rich and his family. Does anyone have any idea who the other sister might have been, or any information on either the Hooper or Rich families? Thanks.
