Chidester, age 1 born in ILL I couldn't find William in 1860 Then: 1870 census Jersey County ILL Elsah post office Chidister, Wm born 1817, age 52 OH Chidester, Amanda, age 41 b. ILL Chidester, James, W. age 16 b. ILL 1854 Chidester, Richard C., age 12 b. ILL Chidester Rosella, age 8 b. ILL Chidester, Adda, age 3 b. ILL I think your Richard may be son of the Richard b. in ILL in 1858. I would like to nail down who his grandfather was.
