Jos. Jr. was raised on a faam and has followed that occupation. In 1837, he came to Otterville, Jersey co. He was md. 1849 to Sarah A. McDow, a native of the county. They have 5 children - Madra Jane, md. to James M. Harris of this twp.; Louie? Angeline, wife of Arthur McGee, living in KS; Florence Matilda, md. to Franklin W. Bently, living in Cass Co., IL; Addie and Jos. Edmond, living at home. Jos. owns 177 acres, on section 29, twp 7, and is a member of I. O. O. F.
