Dear Misplaced Texan with Jersey Co IL Roots - Does the book you have on the Brown and White family have anything about the following marriage? Joseph Brown who married the widow Annis Lee on 30 March 1841 in Jersey Co IL I don't have any information on Joseph whatsoever. Annis was my 4th gr-grandmother. She was born 2 Sep 1793 SC, died 2 Apr 1885 and buried in the Pruitt-Hawkins Cemetery near Fidelity, Jersey Co, IL. Her first husband Thomas Lee was my 4th gr-grandfather. From what I can gather Thomas died shortly after the family came to Jersey Co IL. Thomas and Annis had at least one daughter Nancy who married Jonas Bradshaw. Thanks for anything you can give me.
