He is listed as farm laborer in the 1850 census for Jersey County and living with a family named "Powell". In 1853 he married Rebecca Vanmeter in Jersey County. Does anyone have information about my family? The people living with the Powell family were: O. P. Powell, Sarah Powell, James Carpenter, and Michael King.
