My family member was married in Jersey Co., IL by a C.H. Foote. There is no indication on the certificate, I received, if C.H. Foote was a Minister of the Gospel or a Justice of the Peace. Does anyone know? If a Minister of the Gospel, what denomination? Thank you, Karen Nelson Hangsleben
