There is a Hutchinson House on the Principia College Campus,it was built by a Hutchinson who was a pilot on the river.The house overlooks the Mississippi on the bluffs above Elsah.The history of this house and the person that built is in a book that you can get at the Elsah Historical Center in Elsah or on the Principia College Book Store.
