Sarah Ellen was the daughter to Lawrence and Rebecca Neeley Powers. George Edward and Sarah Ellen had eleven children all born in Jersey co. My mother Alsia Matthews Metz was also born in Jersey co. and I grew up in Alton, Madison co., Illinois.
