I was born in Oct. 1966 and I met my birthmother about 5 years ago. Like your daughter my mother was in her mid to late 30s when she had me, She is now 72. Truthfully I wish I had never met her then I could have kept my little dreams of what she was really like. I did enjoy seeing someone with whom I shared some facial features with though but I should have stopped with a phone call and picture of her and left it at that. Having a child while in her mid 30s makes me believe that Irma MAY have never married. There is one odd thing though, When I do a search on her I come up with two Irma Yates of the same age in IL but they have different middle initials. One is Irma M. ( the one you phoned) and the other is Irma L. both 70 years old but I can only find the phone number for 1 of them. I am starting to think that the! Irma that you called is not her. I think she may be a Yates by marrage only (but she could have been married when she had your daughter too) because I found a death record for a man in the same town she lives in....
