Is this a Jersey Co. surname? Have finally found the name associated with Bennett "I" Nelson born in Hillsboro (grandparents in Jerseyville). Never would have guessed "Ingersole/Ingersoll". Thanks for any replies, Karen Nelson Hangsleben
