In fact, when I saw your notification in my inbox, I thought perhaps it was one telling me just where in Jersey County Newbern is. I still haven't been able to locate it within the county.

Newbern is located in the Southern part of Jersey County. It is just about 1/2 mile east and south of Dow, Il.
