I have no information on Elvira or Robert C. but would like to find out if anyone has information on them. I don't know if they are related to Philemon. Philemon is my ggggrandfather; he lived in Barren Co. KY in 1810 and 1820. He moved to Hamilton Co. sometime after 1820 and married Keziah Allen on 11 April 1831 in Hamilton Co. IL where he appeared in the census in 1840. Sometime after 1840, Philemon, his wife (Keziah 60 and his son David 30, and his wife Nancy Gill 30 and children Elizabeth 9, Joseph 8, George 4, and twins Thomas 1 and Emily 1 (1850 census, Jersey Co)) moved to Jersey Co to farm. I am interested in any information anyone has on this family. Philemon was the brother of John Baugh, an early resident of Bond and Jefferson Counties, IL. David and his sons Joseph and George served in the Civil War. I will be happy to share any informat! ion that I have.
