    2. Marty Crull
    3. Hello list. Most may or may not know me from the Jersey County Historical Society. I am working on the Jersey County Cemetery database and I am going through a bunch of old newspapers and I am coming across many worthy news articles that need to be typed and placed in our files but they are also worthy of genealogical news to you family researchers as well. I am willing to scan, and scan only and email, what I find to those parties who would be willing to type them up and send me back a copy for our files. If you are interested, send me the surnames you would be willing to type for. Don't bother sending, Williams, James cause I will send only Williams. I will not pick out just certain ones. If you are willing to help, send me your name and email with a list of your surnames and I'll stick them in the ole computer and when I come across a news article I think would be of news worthiness, I'll send it to you. Thanks Marty send to [email protected] The Jersey County Historical Society http://www.618connect.com/~jchs/

    3. Hi Marty, If you have OCR (optical character recognition) software with your scanner, and most scanners come with this software, you can scan the articles directly into your wordprocessor software.
