Surnames: Wines Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Ig.2ADI/811 Message Board Post: I would appreciate whoever volunteers to look-up items in the Jersey County 1860 census to check and see if Abner Wines is listed. He was listed as a farm hand in the 1850 Jersey County census and I would hope that if he was still living in Jersey County in 1860 he would be listed there also. The Wines home site of his father William and his brother Allen was in Greene County and they both appear in both the 1850 and the 1860 census in that county. Abner was the executor of his father, William Wines', estate but I haven't been able to find where he lived at the time. His father died in 1860. Help on this subject would be appreciated. Edward C.
