    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hartwick Robbins King Woodhull Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Ig.2ADI/1185 Message Board Post: Hannah Hartwick was widowed by 1850 and moved her 9 children to Jerseyville to start a new life at the age of 45-50. Her daughter Elizabeth married Samuel Robbins who died in 1859 after only 5 years of marriage. Elizabeth remarried civil war veteran Samuel King and they moved their combined families to Miami County, Kansas around 1860. However a great many of the Hartwick siblings stayed around Jersey and Greene Counties. I'd like to hear from any Hartwicks or Robbinses tied to that area. Also, I'd like to find out Hannah Hartwick's family line in New Jersey. She may be a Woodhull since her first son was Alfred Woodhull Hartwick and a Princeton family had a line of Alfred Woodhulls.

    1. Re: [ILJERSEY] Updated Calhoun County Cemetery Listing
    2. Marty, Sorry I have not been able to get the obituaries I have to you. After I planned that my husband became very ill and I have spent most days at the hospital. He came home Monday night but requires a lot of care so my time is limited. The obituaries I have are for Lucretia Toulouse, and I think, for Samuel Phillips, and maybe a couple of others. Just have to get into the files to see if I can find them. You have done such a great job getting out information on Illinois counties. I am sorry you are ill and have to quit the wonderful work you have done. I have a list of those people buried in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hamburg. In the cemetery book it is called the Nimerick - Retzer Cemetery, but the two are only on the same land, not all that close together. I have been to the Mt. Hope Cemetery and in that location did not see the graves that are listed as being in the Nimerick - Retzer Cemetery. Have been told by a cousin that they are actually not connected, but on the same acreage. Will really try as soon as husband feels better to get the info out that I have. Zelma Caplette - CA
