    3. I am looking for any information I can find on this lost soul. Here is what I know: Birth: Abt. 1840 (IRE - King or Queens Co - I think) Marriage: Cornelius Whalen, Jersey County, Dec 25, 1856 Death: Abt 1867-70 (Location Unknown) Children: Mary Ann Whalen: Birth - September 01, 1858 Daniel Whalen: Birth - July 30, 1861 Thomas Whalen: Birth - January 10, 1867 I also know she appears with Cornelius in 1860 Census: WHEELER CORNELIUS 22 M W IREL IL JERSEY JERSEYVILLE PCT 1860 He was with Lizzie 20 and child Mary Ann, 1 Her Son Thomas Whalen's Obit said that she died when he was an infant. I believe during that time they would still have been in Jersey, However, I also have some information that shows an orphaned Thomas Whalen: There was also a Thomas Whalin, age 2, listed as an orphan in 1870, in Montgomery Co., IL. Which lend credibility to the fact that I was told that the father up and went out west at some point and left all his kids at a crossroads. If he was an orphan at that age in 1870 then his mother died maybe around 1867 - 1870ish. What I am looking for is any information on possibly where this woman is buried, how she died, anything at all. It is obvious by census records they were in Jersey in 1860s then possibly the youngest son was orphaned by his father sometime after the mother died. Any information on her, possibilities where they could have been buried or anything would be great. I think they lived in Jerseyville PCT, but I also have a baptism cert for Thomas that says something about fidelity/medora. Any help on her would be immensely appreciated. Mike McGough
