Dear Marty, I was so sorry to hear about your health. I do pray it is only a temporary setback and you will return to all of us who appreciate all your hard work and devotion to genealogy. You have gone beyond the call to help us all. I always look forward to your emails. I will miss them coming from you. Please take care. Thank you so much for all the help and information you have given us. May God speed you to a speedy recovery. Nothing real serious but I've been ordered to stay of the computer and for NO MORE STRESS whatsoever. So as soon as my current contract expires with my server, I will be signing off till my health improves. I'll leave every thing as is until the end of June just to see how I feel but for now, I'll only be checking my mail maybe once a day but for sure at least once a week and I will not be adding or editing any of the web pages. All of you who are currently working on projects please continue. My daughter will make sure they get posted when completed. If my health doesn't get better then my websites will be gone as of 30 June. The newsletters will still go out until I run out of materials to print. Thanks to all the volunteers, I should have enough materials for at least 2 possibly 3 years worth of materials. I thank all of you for your support and help these past few years. We've had a good time. Well, most of the time any way. See you soon. The old records of the cemetery association have Mebane Anderson dying on August 22, 1873 at the age of 78. There is a notation R Walls yd. Walls Yard was an early burying ground before the cemetery was really laid out. It is possible that the 1880 date was when the body was disinterred from Walls and then re-interred in Morrisonville cemetery. I just needed to look further. Jan

Her death is listed as October 21, 1880. HIs name is listed as Meban but that could be bad spelling or erosion on the marker and the only other notation is Corp TN Mil War of 1812 which I am not is correct if the age given-78- is correct. Be sure to reply to Susie at SMompop4@aol.com. My name is Susie Gillick and I am on a quest to find where a Caroline Graff, b. 1855, d. 1917, and was a mother - is actually buried. She is not related to me at all. I received an email from a lady in Alton, IL, this morning asking if I knew anything about this lady. I do have a Caroline Graff married to my great grandmother's brother, but the years and the counties do not match or even come close. It seems there is a head stone for this lady in an antique store in Alton, and the owner would like to give the stone to the cemetery or the family free of charge so that it can once again mark this lady's grave. I am sending you the info so that you could maybe post it so that maybe someone who either lives in your county or is searching in your county might be able to help us. I have checked Madison county, the statewide marriage and death indexes, google, genealogy.com and ancestry.com - all to no avail. I hope you will be able to find a place to post this. The following is the info about the stone and the lady: Trying to find CAROLINE GRAFF, born 1855, died 1917. There is a head stone with her name sitting in an antique store in Alton, Madison County, Illinois. No one knows where it belongs. On Mother's Day there was an article in the local paper there, asking if anyone knew her or where the cemetery is that she is buried. The store owner has said he will give it to the cemetery - it is not for sale. Please help this marker get back to the lady it memoralizes. If you have any info on this lady, you can contact me privately at SMompop4@aol.com Thank you in advance for your help.
If you haven't already, search the archives of this county's list at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ and also join and post a query to the TUCKER-L surname list on Rootsweb. You can search its archives through the site above, too. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at Yahoo!
