John was born in 1858 d. 1928, and Lucille in 1857 d. 1928. Possible marriage date of 12/22/1879? They had a son Edward born in 1875. Edward Married Lenora Mae Scoggins b. 11/15/1882 d. 1927m. 1901 I'm not sure where John and Lucille are from, but most of these families were in Jersey co. and Fidelity Co. Illinois. I have quite a bit on the Scoggins family, it's the Hunter and Watson family I'm at a dead end with. Any tips on where to search next?

My family initially setteled in northern California, then went down to southern California after that. We are originally from the Sondolo section of Lombardi. However, I only have back to my Great grandfather on this line, and getting information from Italy has been much harder then I thought, so there still is a possibitity. There was a Robert Fosha who lived in Grafton,IL Jersey county Quarry township.I think he lived until 1969.He had some connection to Robert Pershing Wadlow Alton gentle giant.They used to come to Grafton often and always to Bob Fosha 's house.Robert the gentle giant would sit in a huge wicker chair on the front porch and say Hi to everyone who walked by.

Marshall. Funeral at 10:30 today. Mr. Marshall was an old and highly respected citizen of Jersey county." Looks like they misspelled his name. I searched for his wife, but couldn't find anything. August 26's newspaper was missing from the microfilm. It may have been in that day's newspaper. If you would like to have William's obit, email me privately with your mailing address.     3. I too have inquired abt. Inquest records and been told they do not exist. Death records from 1878 are available from the county clerk's office. Also HIS WIFE Margaret Aveline McDow Marshaw was born 26 Aug 1828 at Greene, Illinois. she died 26 Aug 1903 at Elsah Jersey Illinois.
